Review:
I’ve been playing this game for quite some time now because it’s one that I really enjoy. Alterations made throughout the years, such as the introduction of daily challenges and competitions in the Arena that take place once every few days, as well as the ongoing introduction of new plants, assist to maintain a state of things that are current, exciting, and interesting. I almost never post reviews anywhere online, but a technical issue that occurred not too long ago has forced me to do so now. Taking part in Arena challenges is relevant to this topic. The application randomly terminates itself and logs me out of the platform while I’m in the midst of playing the game. This happens seldom, but often enough that it’s becoming a significant problem. And what winds up occurring is that I end up losing the gauntlet that was required to play that game, as well as the satisfaction of knowing whether or not I was truly going to win. This isn’t a major problem in and of itself, but it does mean that I have to give up a gauntlet that I may or may not have truly lost, and it also means that I don’t get the prize that I would have gotten for winning that particular game. And given that there is no way to recuperate that particular game or gauntlet, it just about feels like a rip off, despite the fact that it is quite insignificant. Do you realize that over time, such seemingly insignificant dishonest practices build up? And the net impact is… well, let’s just say it’s irritating all around. I really hope that the developers will fix this bug soon. They must be making enough money for them to not have to worry about having to “nickel and dime” devoted players every once in a while. If that were the case, I would enthusiastically recommend it as a genuine five-star experience, and I would remove the qualifier from the game’s title.
This is such a fun game. It is very amusing, and I find myself looking forward to it every day. However, there have been some difficulties here and there. 1. Each time you update the game and add a plant, there is a load data phase that takes ten minutes. This part might cause devices to overheat and waste battery life. Second, there are far too many advertisements in the game; is it possible to space them out such that one appears every five levels? And as a final note, the game will not receive any further maps in the future. This makes me sad because I had hoped that some plants, like the hardly shroom and the umbrella leaf, would make a comeback. Nevertheless, the game is a lot of fun to play. Also, why is Chomper considered a premium plant that costs money, yet torch wood and hot date are not considered premium plants?
