Usually, the android system only allows changing the default app setting of certain apps. For example, a user can assign new defaults to apps such as SMS, mobile browser, assistant, launcher (home app), calling app, spam blocker and caller id, etc.

Thanks to the new android system and updates that have made it even easier to change the default app setting as per the user’s convenience. So, how do you do that?

• Download the app 

Does not matter whether you want to make a new assistant the default app or a web browser. The first thing you need to do is download that app. Go to the google play store (or your mobile store) and install the app you want as default.

• Open settings

Once you have downloaded the right type of application, head toward the settings option. Go to apps and tap on Default apps under the “General” option.
