Review:

Compared to Chrome, the app is much more to my liking overall. I’ve always been a supporter of Firefox, and I think the mobile app does a good job, all things considered. There is one issue that I have with it so far, and that is whenever the keyboard appears, the app zooms in on the space where you are typing. Because of this, doing things like using instant messaging (IM) services built into websites to talk to businesses can be rather difficult because you can’t see the whole screen or the product you are inquiring about while you are typing. I would really appreciate it if there was a way to turn this off in the settings.

I absolutely adore using Firefox on my desktop computer, and I find that it is the finest browser for balancing power and privacy. When seen on a mobile device, its attraction is diminished. It performs a good job of being a browser, and the privacy protections that are built into it are excellent, but the user experience could use some work. For instance, when closing tabs, if you close the tab that is currently highlighted in the list it after re-opening the app for the first time, it scrolls all the way to the top of the list of tabs, and you have to scroll all the way back down to the bottom of the list in order to see your most recent tabs. This occurs when you close the tab that is currently highlighted in the list it after re-opening the app for the first time. Additionally, the action button is located in the upper right corner, but it is quite small and difficult to get. However, it does feature actions that I use frequently (e.g. find text on page). Despite its prominent position on the screen, I rarely make use of the button that is located in the bottom right corner and is easy to press. I’m still using it since I prefer having the same browser for both my desktop computer and my mobile phone, but it may be frustrating at times. Hopefully, this can be fixed in the future.
